28th Annual Lesbian Serenity Retreat

April 12th - 14nd, 2013

This retreat started with a couple of sober lesbians looking to gather together to share their experience, strength and hope for more than an hour.  Over the years it has become the only one of its kind, a sober safe space for lesbians in recovery.

Unlike other retreats there is no “retreat master”.  All workshops and topic meetings are suggestions, and supervised by retreat attendees.  We have had topics from drumming, singing and beading to relapse, faith, joy, step meetings, 4^th step workshop, it goes on and on.

This retreat takes place at Kirkridge in Bangor, PA, www.kirkridge.org, a retreat center located in NE Pennsylvania on the Appalachian Trail.  It encompasses 280 acres and offers beautiful views, a labyrinth, and pond.  It is located next to Columcille,www.columcille.org, a sacred space available to anyone looking for beauty, meditation and/or quiet time.

Whether you are in AA or Alanon you will have a weekend of learning, sharing, spirituality, old friends, new friends and everything in between.
